Do You Have A Bullet Journal?

Do You Have A Bullet Journal that you use for work? If not then I would like to ask you to join Charlie and I as we make a Bullet Journal for Charlie and I As last year when I was working with Thalea Maher she and I had discussed putting together a Bullet Journal for our businesses only I haven’t done mine yet.

So since Charlie is starting his own blog I thought I would make both Charlie and I a Bullet Journal so we can track the hings we want to write about. Although I might let Charlie help me make it as it would be more fun to see what he comes up with.

Ready to get started?

No, your not ready or it is your not sure what a Bullet Journal is? If not here is a Video that will explain what one is and also how to make one for yourself. Now remember you can make these with anything you want you do not have to do what the video says as it is your journal.

I am sure you have heard the  term tossed around quite a bit, especially with this being a new year and everyone setting goals. Now I know we are in Feburary but it is never to late to set a Goal. So lets get started as soon as possible.

Before we begin I wanted to explain to you what a bullet journal is and why do we need to start one? According to bulletjournal.com, “The Bullet Journal is a customizable and forgiving organization system. A Bullet Journal can hold your  your to-do list, sketchbook, notebook, and diary, but most likely, it will be all of the above.

A Bullet Journal  will teach you to do more with less.” Pretty much a bullet journal is a way for you to creatively combine all of the parts of your life that keep your organized.

So before we go much further I wanted to share some supplies we will need. As you might have some of these in your home but others you may need to run out to the store to pick up.

The first thing we need to do is to decide which type of notebook you want to use. So here is a few suggestions on the different notebooks other have used. But it is totally your choice as to which one you chose.

Leuchtturm 1917 come with dotted lines which you might or might not like. Or you might prefer one with blank pages such as the Moleskin Classic Colored Bullet Journals. Either Journal is fine and would work well but for me I prefer one with lines so I can stay on track and not end up writing all over the page. Charlie says he wants a blank one so he can also draw pictures in his.

Pens is the next thing we need to decide on as we will be using these each and every day.  So here are some pens I found that I thought you might like. As Charlie and I want to get the  Tombow Dual Brush Pens are stellar. They have a marker tip and a brush tip so you can create a combination of hand-lettering, thick lines and thin fonts.

Now, we need to work on our layouts and this can include anything you do on a daily basis and can include the following items savings tracker, a recipe planner, weekly to-do list, daily inspirational quote or activities you and your family attend on a weekly, daily or monthly basis.

So now that you have the basics for your Bullet Journal I thought you might want to look for some extra things that can make putting together your Bullet Journal more fun. So here is a list of items Charlie and I came up with.

Rule

Stickers

Post It Notes

Washi Tape
