Colton’s Time Machine: Book 4: Betsy Ross, Mount Rushmore, and the Statue of Liberty

Charlie will be helping my niece Payton teach her sister Daisy to read. While Payton’s mom Alex is at work to give Granny Sherry a break. Because not only is Granny taking care of grandpa but all 4 of Alex’s children this week. LORD help us!! Inside this post is my affiliate links. While Charlie is at his grandmother’s Charlie decided he would read to the children to get them off the electronics for a while. Charlie was putting books into his backpack Charlie decided he wanted to take Colton’s Time Machine: Book 4: Betsy Ross, Mount Rushmore, and the Statue of Liberty by                     Rebecca Massey (Author) which is a Hardcover book that Payton will be able to understand but may not interest the smaller kids so Charlie will read it during nap time to keep Payton quit while the babies sleep.

In Colton’s Time Machine: Book 4 Charlie will travel to Pedophilia where he will work on the                   American Flag. Payton and Charlie will learn about Betsy Ross. Then they will visit is the Statue of Liberty. Did you know the Statue of Liberty is on my bucket list of places I want to visit. Would you like to visit The Statue of Liberty as well? Or have you been to see it before?

My family liked how Colton’s Time Machine: Book 4: Betsy Ross, Mount Rushmore, and the Statue of Liberty is broken down into chapters. Charlie and I can take turn reading the chapters or we can break the book down and read one chapter a day. Once we finish reading the book I can create Lesson Plans to go with each chapter helping Charlie enhance his History studies if he hadn’t finished school. Instead the Lesson Plan will be for Payton who is 10 and in 3rd grade.

About the book:

In this book, Colton and his dragons will travel to Philadelphia, May 21, 1776, to work on the American flag with Betsy Ross. They will travel to Mount Rushmore, in South Dakota, October 25, 1938, to help with the blasting on the secret room behind Abraham Lincoln’s head. The final stop will be Liberty Island, in               New York, on October 28, 1886, to help work on the Statue of Liberty.

From then on, Colton will be one busy little boy, finding and caring for eggs until they hatch, then off on a fun-filled flying adventure in Colton’s Pocket Dragon books. Colton will then climb into his time machine, in the Colton’s Time Machine books, traveling back in time to important events and to meet famous people.

“Always Remember to keep that youthful imagination!”

My name is Rebecca C. Massey and I grew up in Nebraska a small town in the Midwest. In the 80’s I moved to Gilbert, Arizona.

With our busy lives, I had forgotten what it was like to have that youthful imagination. I began thinking back years ago the hours spent with our grandson making up imaginary stories with adventurous characters. His eyes would widen as the stories evolved, adding a little something of his own imagination to each.

So I decided to turn the stories into a children’s book continuing series. The first series is                “Colton’s Pocket Dragon,” and then I created a second series called “Colton’s Time Machine.” This series is a fun way for the reader to learn about our Unites States history.

I hope to instill the excitement of imagination in young readers, as well as the adults sharing in these fun filled, adventurous stories with endearing characters as much as I have enjoyed writing them.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
