Today is August 6 National Root Beer Float Day #RootBeerFloatDay. To get the family to spend time together this evening I thought we would make Root Beer Floats when we get back from Swimming. On the way home I’m going to stop by the Library to see if they have Books about Root Beer to read with David Charlie.

I thought you might want to celebrate with your family as well and I found Root Beer Lady: The Story Of Dorothy Molter. If your teaching your children you might want to check out Teaching Matter with Root Beer Floats!

Charlie and I will be coloring this Root Beer Float:

Recipe: Root Beer Float

Prep Time; 5 mins

Total Time: 5 mins

Serving: 1 float

Ingredients

Vanilla Ice Cream

Root Beer of your choice Davd likes A&W Root Beer and Charlie prefers IBC Rot Beer

Spoon Vanilla Ice Cream into a tall glass. Slowly pour Root Beer into the glass, allowing the foam to rise and then recede before adding more. Serve with straws and spoons.

Today is also National Wiggle Your Toes Day which would make having a Root Beer Float that much more fun.

Thank you,
