Building Self-Esteem through #CardMakingDay

Networking is key in business but it can also be applied to our friends and family. With October 5th being World Card Making Day #WorldCardMakingDay gather your friends and family and make cards together. People have trouble telling people others how they feel at times but writing down cards allows us to say how we feel without being put on the spot. This activity gives you the opportunity to build self-esteem through card making.

Did you know creating greeting cards can even be a bonding experience at work. Host a part during work and ask everyone to bring there favorite art supplies and make cards for everyone in the office which could bring even the grouchiest employees together.

As your celebrating #CardMakingDay it allows allow you to celebrate National Do Something Nice Day #DoSomethingNiceDay because you will be making cards for people you love you can include a coupon for a favor they need done in the future.

The cards will make people feel good which will allow you to celebrate #GetFunkyDay which is a day to let loose and have fun and that is where card making will leave us. If your children are helping make cards remind them to make a card for there teacher because October 5th is also #WorldTeachersDay.

Creating the cards will not break the bank because most of us have arts and supplies laying around our home. Or we can visit the Dollar Tree and spend less than $5 for supplies and make lots of greeting cards which will allow us to celebrate #FrugalFunDay without breaking the bank.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
