The Cornerstone Challenge: Day Four: Content that Tells a Story
I was reading one of the post in the Cornerstone Challenge and she mentioned how she hasn’t been able to travel yet she still has and after reading her post I knew I could do the same with Charlie in Homeschooling. Be watching to see were we visit and why.
When Suzzane was a baby we would board the bus that morning and travel all over our City shopping and having lunch and I miss those times with her and would like to do them with Charlie. But riding a bus all over isn’t safe now so I haven’t been able to take Charlie on a City Bus.
Although one day this month when David is off I am going to talk him into riding a bus with Charlie and I even if it’s to Downtown Fort Worth so i can share a part of my childhood with Charlie. I just wish I had started this when Charlie was younger as there is no, telling were we would have went or what we would have seen.
But the time wasn’t right. Just like the Dollar Movie is now closed and Charlie and I can’t go at opening and stay until it closed watching movies like Suzzane and I use to do. As a single mom we didn’t have much money but I could afford a Dollar Movie for me and she got in free as a child.
What did you do as a child that you can’t do now? Would you want to share it with your children? What is something you hope your children will pass down to there children and why?
Don’t forget to join The Cornerstone Content Challenge on Facebook.
Thank you,
Glenda

I bet Charlie would love leanrinft about your history. As for me I hope Lia will pass down some of the baking and sewing projects we have done through her live to her own children in the years to come.

Like Martha says, I am sure Charlie will enjoy learning about your story. My kids especially enjoy hearing about the goofy things I did with my brother.. 🙂

Yes, he does but like other kids he gets tired of it at times and rolls his eyes. I can’t wait till he has kids then I can teach them to do the same thing to there dad.
