Today I would like to share some tips with you on beginning a business. And to ask you to not make some of the mistakes I have made in the past. And that would be to find a company you like and just sign up without researching and asking questions. And I have done that more times than one and lost money by doing that. And if I can stop you from losing money then this is what I would like to do.
1) Find the Business you like and research it on the Direct Seller Association

2) Local Business Bureau
3) Contact other Representatives and ask them questions about the company. And make sure you talk to more than one person.
4) Contact the Company and ask questions you as a customer might have. And ones a business owner would ask as well.
5) Find a local event in your area and if there is a Rep with the company your thinking of joining see if you can Shadow her at the event.
6) Then find another Rep and shadow her at a Home Party if your company allow them and see how she does the party and ask questions. And see what the hostess gets and what you have to pay for. And make sure you ask about quotas and website fees you would need to pay.
7) Talk to people who have purchased items from the company and ask what they liked and disliked and make sure and find out what shipping cost are and how long it takes to get the items. Because these are huge factors when people order from you.
8) Find out exactly where you can and can not sell at. Both online and offline.
9) Make sure they have a Guide for you so you have everything in writing and if they change rules and things find out how you learn about them. Don’t depend on a Facebook group or your upline to keep you up to date on information.
10) And if something doesn’t feel right to you for one reason or another then do not invest in this business. Because usually your Gut Feeling is right and I would hate for you to lose money.
And BONUS!!!
Ask questions and more questions and keep asking until you have no more questions. Because there is never to many questions. And if you feel like your bothering the person your asking questions to this isn’t the person you want to sign up under.
Find someone that makes sure you know everything and still goes over it all again and again. And wants you to succeed. Because without you they can not grow. And they should be willing to share leads and parties with you.
But not to give you everything you get because you need to work just as hard as they are if not harder as it will be your business. And only you can make it a success.
